Jocelyn Labsan Thompson is currently Director of Ballet at Cherry Creek Dance and Cherry Creek Dance Performing Company, and is part of the artistic team for 7dancers. She and her husband, Andrew, have directed the children section of the Moscow Ballet’s Nutcracker for the last 7 years. She was with Colorado Ballet and the Academy of Colorado Ballet for 18 years serving as Interim Artistic Director, Associate Artistic Director, Rehearsal Director, and dancer. Labsan was also a Principal dancer for Minnesota Dance Theatre and Ballet Michigan/South Carolina Ballet Theatre. She has performed many leading roles in a variety of styles of Classical and Contemporary works. Jocelyn is well known for her artistic integrity and meticulous staging of dance productions around the country. She has worked with several well known choreographers, and as a principal teacher for Boston Ballet’s summer school. She has also guest danced and taught for many companies throughout the nation.
