Hello recital dancers and families!
This semester has gone so fast. We wanted to send out a few reminders to help you with a successful recital day. At the bottom you will find the detailed information sheet with all showtimes, maps, drop off times, and costume information. Below you find links to some frequently asked questions. Please read through everything a few times to ensure a successful recital for you and your dancer.
Trophies and flowers:
All dancers will need to wear a plain black mask with their costume, no designs or embellishments. Dancers who are 2 years old are exempt but are welcome to wear them to match the others in their class. We have kids and adult sizes available at the studio for $7 if you need to pick one up! All spectators aged 3 and over will also be required to wear a mask in the audience.
Hair and shoes for each dance style:
Please have your dancer dressed in costume with hair and make-up done when you arrive at the theatre. Wear your tights with no underwear (diapers okay and encouraged for any dancer who is not fully potty-trained). Hair should be curled in a ponytail if long enough, or pulled back from the face if it is short.
***If your dancer is participating in more than one dance, come dressed in the costume for the dance that is 1st on the show order. If there are two pairs of tights in your bag, please dress your dancer with second tights first and then layer the first costume’s tights on top of the other pair. Call the front desk if you have questions about this, it is hard for us to change your dancer’s tights at the theatre.
They are ready for pickup at the studio and will go home with your dancer this week.
Last day of Spring Semester:
Please reach out with any questions or concerns you may have. We can’t wait to see everyone on stage!
